Completed my Sundown 21.1km in the wee hours this morning. The flag off was damn happening la, like clubbing haha. Ran with Eliene and Pei Yun. But kinda abandon them both mid way cause i wanted to complete it within 3 hrs. Abandon Eliene at 6km and py at 12km. It was fun running with friends as you have company but i still need to have that sense of accomplishment that i am actually running. Still feels kinda guilty lol. However in the end, it still took i miss the 3hr marks by 1-2 mins WTS. And my phone died mid way left me with no music and uncontactable and music-less. Luckily i bump into KC mins after i crossed the finishing line. Nua around with his as we waiting for the girls to finish. And oh yea, bumped into Shaun while running but cant seem to find him at the finishing line, why? Cause he didn't bring his phone ._. Walked all the way from flyers to Bugis area for mac breakfast cause Cityhall mac is flooded with runners haha. Then take first train back. Shag but shiok.
Actually before flagging off, i read that they will be giving off lights sticks at the information counter. So i when to get it.
Staff: 1 person take 1.
Me: I want 2
Staff: 1 person only can take 1.
Me. CAN LA!!
Staff: Cannot! 1 only!
Me: HAHA can la, i take hor!! (Auto go grab it)
Staff: ._. (Then we both stand there LOL)
Eliene: WHY U LIKE THAT!
HAHAHAHAHAHA
Ok so now sundown is over, the Adeline rush wore off and my knee start to hurt and body starts to ache slightly. I am already thinking of the next run. Maybe Adidas KOTR? And maybe the zombie dash? Running is already part of who i am. I am determine to sign up for 42.195 km in 2014 Sundown. I have this weird mind-set that i wouldn't be a complete/real runner until i completed a 42.195km marathon.
